For over 30 years, Resort La Ginabelle in Zermatt has been synonymous with heartfelt hospitality. But a resort that brings together two such different hotels under one umbrella – family-run La Ginabelle and Altiana by La Ginabelle – needs more than just a feel-good atmosphere. It needs clarity on who it is, who it’s aimed at, and how it communicates this to the outside world. The Abgottspon-Schell family knew this – and in Brandnamic, found the partner that could provide that clarity.
Resort La Ginabelle in Zermatt is a 4-star-S wellness resort featuring two separate properties. La Ginabelle, the original hotel, is known as the family-run heart of the resort and has been attracting loyal guests for years. Altiana by La Ginabelle, the serviced suites and apartments, was deliberately designed to offer a contrast: quiet, self-contained, and tailored to couples and families requiring more space. To strengthen both properties without sacrificing one for the sake of the other and prepare them for the challenges and opportunities of the future: that was the goal.
The starting point was complex: two properties with different target audiences, a shared digital presence that didn’t fully do justice to either of them, and a brand that was capable of more than it was showing.
The solution was developed in close consultation with the host family:
- The positioning concept was refined to clearly distinguish the two hotels under the umbrella brand.
- The claim for the original hotel, the logo, and the corporate design were redesigned, while the new website supports the brand identity and drives conversions.
- The powerful Brandnamic Hospitality Apps were introduced to boost operational efficiency in the long term.
- Brand visibility was also boosted by new e-mail signatures and vehicle decals.

Armed with these strengths, Resort La Ginabelle is striding confidently into the future – with two distinctive worlds under one roof and a brand that reflects them both.
