Where guests keep coming back: a second home in Frauenau
Hotel Eibl Brunner
Hotel Eibl Brunner in the Bavarian Forest is run by Stefan and Diana Brunner and stands for personal hospitality, a close bond with nature, wellness, and good food. The hosts’ vision is clearly defined: the hotel should be a genuine second home for its guests. What was missing was a digital presence that made this atmosphere tangible, brought the property’s strengths to the fore and strengthened direct sales for the long term.
Hotel Eibl Brunner is a place where everyday life stays behind you and where guests feel at ease and welcome from the very first moment. The new website had to be far more than an online business card. It had to convey that holiday feeling before arrival, showcase the brand’s strengths and USPs online, guide prospective guests intuitively towards booking, and turn the site into a measurable sales channel that lifts the direct booking rate.
Eibl Brunner was already a software client, and those conversations sparked the idea of rethinking its digital presence too. The starting point was clear: the existing corporate design and established brand identity would stay, while the website would be thoroughly modernised — both visually and technically — and made cleaner and leaner. The previous site no longer met current standards in design, structure, and navigation. To truly grasp the character of the property, our Consulting and Visual Communication Design team travelled to Frauenau to experience its unique atmosphere, architecture, setting, and the hosts’ personal hospitality at first hand.
Drawing on those impressions and working closely with the client, we created a bespoke website that brings together brand identity, inspiration, information, and direct sales:
- Corporate design carried forward: the new site translates the brand’s visual identity into a modern, high-quality and pared-back digital design language.
- Clear audience focus, USPs to the fore: the property’s core pillars – wellness, nature, dining, and rooms – are clearly structured, so visitors take in the hotel’s strengths at a glance.
- Strengthened direct sales: a transparent information architecture and an intuitive user journey take guests from first inspiration through to booking.
- Reliable, measurable data: structured tracking now makes it possible to analyse and manage digital marketing activity and user behaviour with precision.
“What mattered to us was that our new website should feel more modern and current, while remaining unmistakably our Eibl Brunner. We want our guests to feel they are stepping inside even before they arrive”
