Nestled in the heart of the Palatinate Forest lies a hotel that has been synonymous with true relaxation for almost four decades: Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort in the Dahn Rockland. Dr Manfred Maus and family run this 4-star superior hotel with the aim of offering guests an experience that goes far beyond a standard wellness holiday – featuring 61,000m² of garden paradise, a spa and wellness centre, mental- wellness-, and activity programmes, as well as fine regional cuisine from the Palatinate and Alsace.
A comprehensive refurbishment has raised the resort to a new standard of quality. But the change came with challenges: higher prices meant attracting new types of guests; promising target groups were not being reached effectively, and the ongoing advertising campaigns lacked the desired reach. Time for a new approach – and for Brandnamic.
The host family’s vision was clear: to increase brand awareness, target new audiences, and establish Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort beyond the region as Germany’s premier destination for wellness and nature experiences – with a long-term focus on international markets.
To achieve the Maus family’s goals, Brandnamic worked on several fronts simultaneously. Based on a strategic marketing plan, a new high-performing website, and targeted landing pages were created, bringing to life what makes the resort special – its location, the sprawling garden paradise, and the spa wellness world. This was supported by targeted Google and Meta campaigns to increase direct bookings, as well as consistent SEO and GEO work, which firmly anchors the brand in search engines and AI systems – and gradually leads the resort to international visibility.
Between 1 July 2024 and 30 April 2026, Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort generated 21,808,013 impressions, 689,404 clicks, and 34,605 conversions on Google – with a ROAS of 2,992% and a cost per conversion of just €7.21. Meta generated a further 13,857,312 impressions and 168,223 clicks. Organic visibility also grew significantly: for the highly competitive keyword “wellness hotel Germany”, the ranking improved from 15.6 to 6.2.
Pfalzblick Wald Spa Resort is now visible exactly where its future guests are looking: on search engines, on social media, and, increasingly, in the AI systems that help travellers make their decisions. A hotel that deserves to be discovered. And one that is now being found.
